Yes and no. A good gym partner will push you where you don’t push hard enough. It’s just a lot easier to go by yourself

I can attest, my lifts are always so much better by myself. I just feel so much more able to focus in. Also, when you go with someone else and they want to deviate from my split, just nah man. I value the structure of my workouts too much.

i mean i guess, but who goes to the gym with someone and just lifts for their session and leave? seems like more of a social thing if you have a partner
