Cardio on its own isn’t enough to make a meaningful difference in calorie expenditure. It is so, so much easier to eat 500 less calories a day than burn 500 more calories a day. Additionally, if you’re not tracking your calories, you’ll likely end up subconsciously eating more to make up for your burned calories.
