Went for a run, and lemme tell you, I am NOT friends with cardio. But, surprisingly, I had no abdominal stitch or cramps. The only pain I had was from the nasty, little trifling, hideous, unlovable, ludicrously nefarious, blood-sucking parasite mosquitos.

I learned that bracing my core would mostly eliminate the abdominal stitch. Watch some videos about how to brace your core for a deadlift or squat and it’ll have some transfer to running

Hydration helps a ton with running. I typically drink 3L of water before a running workout and that helps for me

I actually had no problems with stitches!! But, I did have a gnarly headache a couple of hours after. Two Tylenol and an uncomfortable sleeping position later, it finally went away.

Will drinking more water also help with headaches? I had a pretty bad one afterward. Other than that, I was pretty fine.

Yes! It def does in my case. I’ll drink 3 of my water bottles(32oz) at my internship, then go and do my workouts my coach sends me. On longer workout days I’ll have a liquid IV to help with hydration when it’s hot out as well. Then drinking water throughout the day after that helps as well
