question for the ladies, does your cramps prevent you from doing certain exercises for your gym routine? curious if there's something I can help my girlfriend with on her gym journey.
for me personally it’s not really that there’s any one exercise that i can’t do, it’s more a general lack of energy

me personally my cramps and symptoms are so bad i have to skip 2-3 days. it varies though.

before i got my periods controlled my cramps were debilitating to the point my body was physically sore. i would just be supportive and maybe help her find an alternative exercise that doesn’t replicate whichever movement that one would have

Idk about cramps but I know during different stages in the menstrual cycle women actually become weaker. I believe it’s the luteal phase (the phase right before the period) where muscles just can’t push as much as they normally do

not necessarily certain exercises consistently across the board although definitely sometimes i’ll be hitting something and my body will say “no, not today actually”

yeah she tells me hers are bad sometimes where she can't tolerate certain positions

def if that’s the same with your gf, do what #3 said and find some alternatives or take an extra rest day
