hey all! ive only ever done a split of ulul (j&t), but am considering trying an online program (caroline girvan). that split would be more like quads, shoulder/tri, glutes/hammies, r, full body, r, back/bi w some variation. has anyone tried this split?

If a split has a single muscle group for an entire day, it's automatically a terrible split

The split doesn't matter as long as you're happy with (1) the amount of time you're spending in the gym and (2) the amount of time you're spending between hitting a muscle group

also sounds like a way to get fatigued quick. you gotta break it down more day by day to tell that tho

i just started doing chest and back, arms and shoulders, legs and the soreness you get from chest and back in the same day is awesome

Well you said that your current split is working so I can't see the reason to change it. Upper lower is considered one of the better splits, so if your training is fine, the split is definitely fine
