Doesn’t cause any problems acc, a arch on bench help keep shoulders and back into place and less likely to get injured

This is most definitely comp standard? If ur talking abt my hips raising, it’s allowed my butt can’t just come off

Could be camera angle but it looks like your butt is coming off to me, but I’m not a judge

Sink bench is so weird with hips coming off and not ur butt, u kinda act like a spring u come down into it and load urself up for the press up and it looks like ur butt shoots up, but since ur so compressed it doesn’t

Post a vid of you doing 405x3 so we can see what “proper form” you’re talking about

When did I say he didn’t have proper form? I complimented his bench and gave him constructive criticism. Touch grass.

ive always thought it was best to keep a neutral spine regardless of the lift to avoid injury. solid lift regardless (but yk that)- is “sink bench” different from regular bench press?

A sink bench is a lil different not much, I let it drop to my chest and sink in bring my body down with it and then springing it up, can’t rlly do that with flat bench efficiency, also I’m a powerlifter so any help I can get is always good, for a normal gym goer I would still recommend a slight arch to tuck your shoulders into place to avoid injury, pretty hard/ impossible to injury ur spine on bench
