Gonna try to go to the gym twice a day. Once in am to get my lift out of the way. And once after work to get my steps in. I’m sat all day and it’s not okay lol. Gym is literally like 5 mins away from my job. Is that crazy

Good plan! If it’s nice out too and you’re able, I’d recommend getting outside for the walk/steps, vitamin D is important! Also see if you can get a standing desk or under-desk pedals. So many people lose bone density because of their desk jobs

I'd recommend more gradually building up to that from what you're already doing. For example if you're used to going to the gym four times a week for lifting, gradually reduce the load per lifting session and add on an extra day or two, then add cardio to one day at a time until you get used to it. Quick large changes are how people get burnt out, lose motivation, and stop going entirely.
