Anyone have advice on working out with hyper mobility and POTS? I’ve been using light easy controllable weights for more reps (like 5lb for 50 reps instead of 20lb for 5 reps) and only doing sitting exercises but I feel like I’m not making any progress

Maybe start doing floor workouts and Pilates so you avoid fainting and holding heavy weights. Or you can do the standing ones and if u feel faint immediately lay down with ur feet angled above head

Hypermobile here-try weights that you can get like 20 reps for instead. That’s abt the highest you can go and still be gaining strength. I also recommend starting any workout with gentle stabilizing PT exercises (can recommend some) for your most vulnerable joints. I also HIGHLY recommend seeing if your school has physical therapy built into the healthcare system.

how long have you been doing this? it will take you longer so you’ll just have to be patient

Do you. Have hyper mobility or POTS cuz that’s how I dislocate my bones or faint my guy
