Can we talk about how terrible it feels to grow into your adult body from a teenage body like I feel like no matter what I do I can’t regain the muscle definition I once had whilst keeping a healthy relationship with food

You likely can, you just need to improve your relationship with food and your body before doing any diets or anything of that nature. And always remember you're more than your body. I believe in you OP‼️

Food has gotten more complicated in the last 5ish years. Big corporate pushes to “streamline” supply chains have happened at the expense of quality. It’s slowly reverting back but if you keep a food journal of what your good at digesting and what makes you feel sluggish, you’ll likely find good sources to make you both ripped and happy to cook your own meals. It’s both art and science.

Yeah it’s just so hard in the years of early adulthood when I can barely afford housing let alone good quality food

Idk if your gut biome is like mine, but I used to get $20 roasts and ready rice. Total cost was between $25 to $30ish dollars and that would feed me for most of the week. I would just carve a chunk off the roast and fry it every time I was hungry. Meat digests slower, I was hungry less, got ripped much quicker.

Between that and high quality eggs (ended up spending roughly $3 extra for quality eggs) per week, I was more or less set for what I was doing working out.
