Decided to say enough is enough and going to start my big weight loss/ gym journey after numerous failed attempts. Any tips/ easy to follow workout routines would be greatly appreciated
Even on days you don’t want to do anything, do a little something. The feeling of doing something is so much better than the feeling of guilt from doing nothing

Find any form of cardio you enjoy doing which will give you a bigger total daily caloric expenditure to work with when you’re losing weight. You want consistency over a long period of time

Consistency over everything is what matters. If you miss a day or two, just go back the next day. Don't quit. Nobody's worked out for 10 years straight without ending up better than they started

Don’t give up and make it a lifestyle change. You have to believe you are an active person. Walking is still exercise so find any excuse to walk.
I lift/do cardio 4-5 times a week and then my weekends are my active recovery days (hiking and yoga). Find the right lifestyle for YOU.

And it’s not just the gym but also reframing your relationship with food. We eat to fuel ourselves. You can still eat stuff like mac and cheese but decrease the amount, increase the protein, and add veggies. You don’t necessarily have to change what you eat but how you eat it.
