so fucking tired of this guy at my gym bc every single time his wife does anything he’s like “LOOK!! MY STRONG WIFE!” which is ok every now and again but multiple times a day and ig stories too? like dude we get it you’re insecure in your relationship

to clarify I mean he is literally yelling “STRONG WIFE” or “MY WIFE” in the borat voice and when no one laughs he says it again because he thinks no one heard it but really it is because no one finds it funny bc this is all he does

it’s less true affection and more insecurity. you can show affection in ways that aren’t yelling every few minutes to make sure everyone knows how totally secure you feel in your relationship

unfortunately I know both him and his wife very well and all of that is based on our many conversations. he’s the kind of guy who feels the need to give advice to people especially on things he doesn’t actually know about to feel like he knows more than them, and doesn’t rly have a personality outside of that and making sure everyone knows how great his wife is as often and loudly as possible. I have tried to talk to him genuinely but he’s just super immature and a know it all
