Here’s my hot take: stop shitting on people that go to PF. It’s a solid gym that has everything you need and you can still get big going there.

Mine has actual barbells now. Like… it’s fine. It’s not equinox but you can work yourself out just fine there for cheap

Barbell bench is the only thing I can’t do at mine and it’s perfectly easy to get chest gains without it

It’s the only affordable commercial gym in my area (the rest are small businesses and $50+/month), and if you travel a lot it’s great to be able to go to the gym in any location you want. The workout equipment they have is pretty consistent across most locations. Is it better than a gym for serious bodybuilders? No, but it is a means to an end

The equipment at pf is actually so uncomfortable for me to use and I can stay fit as well as I do at another gym that is also financially good for me

They don’t have barbells, you can do dumbbell bench or smith machine bench

When I meant good enough I meant good enough to add muscle tissue. Which many have. No pro bodybuilder is adding new muscle with just resistance bands
