I started consistently going to the gym about 4 months ago and I feel like I haven’t seen any progress and I really feel like my quads just won’t grow at all.. I know it takes time but any tips? Should I try creatine? I don’t think I drink enough water :/

Yo Imma keep it a buck if you arent seeing any progress in the gym after 4 months, You need to be training harder. Track the weight you’re lifting and up it when your ego and body are feeling it.

Sissy squats are also really good, and I recommend knee sleeves for leg extension. I wore them for a little over a year and my knees have gotten better, but I also attribute it to sissy squats. Not saying I understand all the ins and outs of you knees

Tracking visible progress can be difficult. If you're progressing in weight, you're building muscle

Usually I do some back squats to warm up, Bulgarian split squats, leg press, and quad extensions. I have tried goblet squats but they killeddd my knees I already have really bad knees and even the extension machine hurts them sometimes and I don’t know how to make that better they will be sore for days

that seems pretty good, personally i only do 1 squat pattern and leg extension. have you tried doing hack squats? also hows your diet because your diet is more important than your workouts

No Ive never tried them but I don’t think my gym has a hack squat machine. My diet honestly is all over the place sometimes. I do try to overall eat pretty decent and consistent, I always try to get a good portion of protein in every meal but I don’t track it. I am not a snacker at all, I honestly probably don’t eat enough some days which i know I need more and more protein to really build muscle but it’s so hard lol

I think just as a warning. If you’re losing fat at the same time at building muscle the weight may stay the same for a while while there are physical changes, both ones you can see(bigger quads) and ones you can’t as easily(form getting better, weight moving a bit easier or going up in weight)

I meant weight that you can physically move rather than bodyweight lol, but another good piece of data to have if you can get a scale

Yeah definitely work on protein and eating clean as much as you can. Your workouts don’t seem bad but getting serious with nutrition will definitely help and bring out your quads/ physique more.
