Starting the gym because I’m a loser who can’t even make friends let alone get a boyfriend. I would appreciate any tips for going on a cut :)

eat a lot of good quality protein like at least 1g per kg of bodyweight. if ur a girl itll be a bit harder to build muscle but the more muscle u build the more u burn at rest and focus on good form before going heavy to avoid injuries. hope this helps !!

You should not cut right off the bat unless you're very obese 😭 Start with body recomp! As #1 said, girls don't start with the natural volume of muscle that guys do. Often, girls need to grow base muscle THEN we start actually growing/toning. Eat your maintenance calories, but mainly high quality protein. Then healthy fats. Minimal carbs. Bam body recomp. Then from there, depending on where you're at, cut or bulk

i’m going to semi agree and disagree with #3. I agree do not start with a cut. a lot of people start their fitness journey by jumping right into a cut but they don’t have the habits to sustain that. I recommend like #3 said, starting with eating around maintenance and working on building all the habits needed to sustain a cut (working out consistently, tracking macros and sticking to meal plan, water, steps, etc).

Body recomp pm just means a complete shift in your body's composition/physique while staying around the same weight Swapping fat out for muscle

Retarted advice, def should cut if you’re fat at all, minimum 2 months. Don’t avoid carbs, they’re the most important macro nutrient. Find the exercises that you like and focus on form the first ~2 weeks and once you have it down train at least a 2x frequency and to failure every set, doing 2-3 sets per exercise while doing progressive overload

however I strongly disagree with them saying to eat minimal carb, carbs are NOT the, I am the leanest I have ever been eating the most carbs I ever have currently
