Never weighed myself or tracked calories ever and I’ve seen good progress about a year in

counting calories is for insane people, just cut out excess sugars and saturated fats and increase fiber and water intake

Track for a few months and you can figure out what approximately your body needs Track ur progress over weekly/monthly weight change trends if it’s going down or up keep doing what ur doing based on ur goals, if it’s not going right cut a little

Honestly I do the same thing but I just eat less when I wanna lose weight, calories don’t get counted over here

Started tracking and developed a terrible toxic relationship with food so for my sanity I stopped. Just make sure to have discipline/get good fruits/veggies/protein and you’re all set. It’s about setting healthy habits you can take with you throughout your entire life

I’ll track on and off so it doesn’t become an obsession and I just make sure I’m eating correctly

Idk if you’ve heard of the 800g challenge but I do that normally:) eat 800g of fruits and veggies, certain amount of protein(different for each person) and then I don’t track anything else! Just make sure I’m getting what I NEED and then I eat whatever outside of that:)

I've never tracked my calories and I've been lifting for a long time, but I've gotten very good at intuitive eating so I'm pretty food conscious. I wanna start tracking soon tho because I wanna compete in a few years

Did it for over a year. Became too obsessed. Now I just weigh for portion sake (groceries are expensive)

You definitely do not need to track. Maybe try tracking protein macros if ur trying to gain muscle? But really intuitive eating works as long as you aren’t eating a bunch of processed stuff!

Yeah I don’t count I do have like a protein quantity goal but it’s more like “ok this item of food has some protein so I’ll eat it with some veggies and grains I guess” and bam I gained like 5 pounds of muscle lol (make sure to eat like a protein bar or smtg right after u work out! That’s what changed the most for me)

just cut out processed sugar for the most part and eat more protein

Do it for a little to know what you need I’d say it’s not that hard to use a food scale

but counting calories will lead you to that same conclusion so either way honestly
