it’s lowkey crazy to see people talking about being fat and being like 230 lbs and 5’11 or 5’4 and 170. like damn i was 250 and 4’11 when i started losing weight am now i’m at 190. i thought i was doing pretty ok😭

There are degrees to how unhealthy it is, and you can use whatever label you want, but yes all of those height/weight ratios you listed would have an excess of fat, and would be healthier at a lower weight

I’m about 5’10 and 220 lbs and I definitely have never felt skinny at this weight lol. I’m not gigantic, but the weight has been very stubborn, even ozempic stopped working for me.

That's nice. It would objectively be healthier to be at a lower weight. That doesn't necessarily mean it would be by much, but ig I just don't see the benefit of having excess fat

it’s not objectively healthier to be at a lower weight. health depends on lifestyle and genetics. if it were healthier to be at a lower weight, bodybuilders and athletes would have a lot of muscle would be unhealthy. and it’s not that there’s a benefit to having excess fat, i just don’t believe that people should kill themselves to be thin just bc that’s what society thinks they should be

BMI is an outdated metric but there is no possible way you are healthy at 4’11 and 190lbs. I’m sorry that’s just not medically possible. You are obese.

I'm glad you brought up bodybuilders because yes even an excess of muscle can cause health complications. Society might have its own preference but there is inarguably a direct correlation between health and being near a healthy weight

It's objectively healthier to not weigh that much at 4'11 assuming you get there through balanced methods. Your bloodwork is most likely good because you're young. Staying at that weight for long would cause issues

if that were true then fat people would just get lipo and be healthy but that’s not the case. its the lifestyle that makes you healthy no the weight. people can be bigger and be healthy. i don’t have mobility issues and i’m physically fit, just not thin. even my doctors say i’m fine. y’all just have outdated views of health
