Are there any good alternatives to Bulgarian spit squats bc they make me irrationally angry

Lunges? Reverse lunges? Heavier squat? Split squat is just a less stable squat with all the weight on one leg so probably just a heavy squat would be fine. Maybe squats with heels elevated?
