Trying a program my coach gave to my buddy that got him to a 515 deadlift. Just feels silly to not try all the way

Your buddy's accomplishments are probably more of a testament to his work and potential than your coach if he's the one that programmed all that volume for one exercise in one workout. This is just a weird workout all around, so don't be afraid to think about how you can can make it better
