WHY am I gaining weight? I've been eating healthy and less calories and gyming every day. I'm not trying to get swole. Why must you muscle so hard, oh body of mine

Honestly, either take it and appreciate it because some people work and eat and workout for months without any weight gain, or start to change the way you train/what you're training for. if you're doing compound lifts all the time and hitting hypertrophy, you're gonna gain weight because you're tearing and building your largest muscle groups constantly. If you want to feel more fit/lean, start running frequently with compound lifts in between.

or find other activities that emphasize muscle efficiency over muscle size and mass. climbing, kayaking/rowing, hiking, swimming, calisthenics are all good options
