guys i just started my “weight loss journey” ive lost seven pounds and ive been going to the gym for about 3 weeks but how do yall stay positive like my brain keeps telling me none of this will work and i’ll look the same by the end of the summer ? :/

Take "before" photos now to compare with later because weight loss can be hard to track visually. But even if body dismorphia makes it harder for you to notice, I promise if you keep up your current weight loss, others will see a drastic difference.

just tell yourself that your body is better off being healthy and doing this will achieve that. if you think about it, whose gonna be healthier, you at the end of summer while keeping up this routine or if you didn’t do it at all? it’s pretty obvious to think that you will be looking better if you keep going and the numbers already prove that. the progress you will see will be way better later than now
