I say this bc when I lived in “nicer” areas when I had roommates so I could afford “nicer” areas this was barely as much of a problem but at least it’s motivation to get myself into a better financial situation someday 🙏

Yea social norms are different I’ve lived in predominately white areas with lots of money and then I’ve lived in some rougher areas where I was the minority for the first time but lowkey I love some of the differences like everybody would just chat each other up in the poor areas like if we were waiting in line or something everybody just starts chiming in and chattin together and it feels like so much more of a community! rich folk are too uppity to just start talkin w strangers like that tho
