I.e. if I go out to eat friends and it's not a cheat day, I'll get like a salad but if someone orders an app for the table like cheese curds, I'll allow myself to have a limit of like three through the meal and I make sure to savor each bite. When it does come time around for my cheat meal I reflect on those curds and and my weight loss goals and all of a sudden I feel like I don't need a 10 pound burger so much.
