I spend days deciding what my cheat day meals are going to be only for the day to come, I step on the scale, see the progress I've made, and decide it's not worth ruining for a couple carbs and fats

All about balance, I might skip a cheat meal here or there but I only have the will power to do so because I do let my self indulge occasionally on non cheat days if I've been doing well on my diet.

I.e. if I go out to eat friends and it's not a cheat day, I'll get like a salad but if someone orders an app for the table like cheese curds, I'll allow myself to have a limit of like three through the meal and I make sure to savor each bite. When it does come time around for my cheat meal I reflect on those curds and and my weight loss goals and all of a sudden I feel like I don't need a 10 pound burger so much.
