I’d like to see their physique 😂 there is absolutely nothing easy about sculpting your body from the ground up

Bodybuilding you can't just train train train excessively and speed the results up like you can in most sports, there's a lot that goes into it and it is a very slow thing. It's arguably harder.

Weightlifting isn’t easy but I enjoy lifting a lot more than I enjoyed wrestling practice. I still swim even tho it’s kinda boring since it’s a really good workout.

Nah, I’ve done both, swimming is just way way harder both physically and mentally. Sorry 🤷‍♂️

It really isn’t hard lol. It’s only hard at the competitive levels for the last month. But none of yall bang diuretics and do cardio at 5 am and suffer on diets. It’s only hard if you’re mentally weak. If you love it, that makes it easy and a rewarding part of the process. Following a plan and abiding by it isn’t hard. You also have the genetics and structure or you don’t. Some of yall are delusional though.

sure the act of lifting weights ain’t hard but actually sculpting your body is hard asf i’ve played almost every sport out there soccer football lacrosse wrestling basketball baseball and volleyball let alone racing sports i wouldent say one is easier then the other but progress is seen faster in sports off the bat

The hard part is doing both. I wrestle and lift

Both are hard, but playing a competitive sport requires being athletic. Anybody can go to the gym and push up heavy weight, but not everyone can hit a 90mph Baseball.

Definitely not easy, but it’s not exactly complicated or skill intensive. I just go in, follow my split, push myself hard, and do it consistently. I wouldn’t call it as hard as most sports.

I wouldn’t say it is easy but lifting weights requires less skill, less thinking and is easier to learn than sports. Bodybuilding is just lifting the right weight, using good technique, eating what you need and having the dedication to be consistent

I knew multiple guys from the powerlifting and wrestling team that would swim in the off season.

It’s harder much earlier if you aren’t enhanced actually , and even more so if you don’t abuse stimulants

Nah he’s kinda right though. Getting strong is just doing it for a long time. It takes awhile, but almost anyone could do it given the time and effort. How many guys could hit a major league fastball no matter how hard they tried?

Chilling in an air conditioned gym doing short sets of easy movements vs spending 3 hours pushing your lungs, heart, and every muscle in your body to the limit doing complex, extremely technical motions 🤔 (obviously lifting requires physical exertion I’m just saying doing your sets is simple and easy asf, even compound lifts)

Nah you’re totally right. I’ve been lifting for years, and it really isn’t that hard. Pushing a set hard takes effort, but it’s only a few seconds of discomfort and then a break. I sure as hell couldn’t do any endurance sport lol, I’d die.

3 hours is crazy ur wasting ur fucking time lol . I’m just saying I’ve been hypoxic from swimming but I’ve never blacked out . I got a section time in 50 100 and 200 free in the best section in the country and I didn’t even kick during freestyle , I’m not just talking out my ass here lol . I wasn’t a freak or anything , probably 3rd or 4th on my team but I feel like everybody just wants to say their sport is the hardest

I’d argue starving and eating until you can’t move are pretty difficult. This post was more about the professional/semi professional body building, not your average lifter. Having to dial in diet and go to the gym on 1000 calories is fucking impossible. Having to eat 4000 calories before the gym, throw up during a workout, and keep going? Pretty not fun.

We absolutely do cardio at 5 am idk what you’re on about. For like five months of your life everything else is less important and you can do nothing but focus on your training diet and recovery. No going out, no eating out, during cutting you literally (as a guy) lose ur dicks function. This post is about COMPETITIVE BODY BUILDING, not your average workout a day joe shmoe.

Dawg why at 5 AM lmao. I’ve stepped on stage before, and I can tell you very confidently that getting up at 5 AM is unnecessary. I mean, we are talking about the gym 4-5 days a week, 2ish hours a day, and a reasonable step count as our training. If you’re going substantially more than that, then you are probably doing a lot of unnecessary work.

Dawg what lmao. There is no need for you to stuff 4k calories before the gym, you’re making this sound hardcore when you’re literally just making it hard on yourself for no reason

Spoken like someone who has never competitively body built pt. 2. There absolutely is a need for 4k cals before the gym, because I lift a little later and my goal for the day is usually 5500-6000 cals during a bulking phase.
