More of a diet question… I’m 21, male, 5’7, 155lb, lift 6 days, and average 15k steps. My sugar is very high (mainly comes from fruits. Only added sugars would be instant oatmeal (less sugar version) and my protein granola. Are these macros okay?

162 grams of protein is more than enough if you’re 155lbs! Other than that, it doesn’t really matter how many carbs and fats you get so long as they add up correctly calorie-wise and you get the bare minimum amount of fats you need to survive. Since most of your sugar is coming from fruit, I wouldn’t worry about it. Added sugars are the true evil, since they make non-nutritious foods more calorically dense and addicting for no benefit.

As for your fats makeup, although saturated fats aren’t as bad as people tend to make them out to be, I would at least make sure you eat more unsaturated fats than saturated, since the hysteria is grounded in some truth
