yall. i just switched two days ago to being a early morning gym goer. is it normal for my lifts to be lower than they usually are

Yeah, people tend to be weaker earlier in the morning because they’re a little dehydrated and depleted. An electrolyte drink and some fast digesting carbs in the morning before your lift should help with this.

Yeah you’re probably dehydrated, are low on glycogen, and not fully alert. Caffeine, carbs, electrolytes, and water
