Had max day for football lifts ( D3 Cornerback 5’8” 160 ibs) squatted 285 for 3 and incline bench 185 for 3 I’m losing my shit

U all good breddah. Give yourself some recovery whenever you can, as a D2 gentleman I send you my condolences as our grind is not seen the way it is. You're a corner, ur lifting isn't everything. Focus on footwork, build that balance and improve your flexibility. I also play a high speed position, and it can be very psychologically hurtful to see your linemen move 3x the weight you do. You got other jobs than throwing ppl around. When I set my 3RM for team, I have never actually maxxed out.

I’m like bro wtf I been eating right, recovering right and sleeping well, putting in the work every day on the field and in the gym and my bench max is like nonexistent
