
figure out your maintenance calories (there’s calculators online, AI, or just track yourself and find it through trial and error), and then increase by about 250-500 calories. 250 is usually enough to see progress over a few weeks, but if you can stomach it and don’t mind putting on weight, that extra 500 calories moves the scale no doubt (former 120 pound dude)
Make sure you’re hitting the 0.3-0.5g of fat when calorie counting. Realistically, regardless of bulk or cut, the only thing you should be changing is how much carbs you consume. If you lower fat, your hormones get cooked. If you change protein, you either waste cals (too much) or lose muscle (too little).
