Active recovery! Gentle walking and movement really help keep the lactic acid from building up, which is what causes that soreness!

I’m not a super strict person but enough that you’re peeing often but not too much that you’re piss is Crystal clear. Try to get some electrolytes too if you can

Okay. I’m trying to cut down on sugar but also hate fake sweetener in sports drinks like Gatorade and stuff. Do you recommend anything?

Not really, sorry. I don’t look into sugar so much especially if I’m worried about recovery because I know that’ll get me back into the gym or running to burn it off quicker, really depends on if you’re trying to build muscle or lose weight

Sugar free liquid IV doesn’t taste super sweetened. LMNT is expensive but good. If you’re unhinged like me you can also just add 500 mg of Himalayan salt to your water
