For my warm ups it’s okay but when I go heavier I loose balance and my feet slip cause of my socks
I do it with my squat well bare foot the grip is the best.
i have to wear shoes at the gym i wish i could just sign a waiver that says if i smash my foot it’s my own damn fault
I’ll take off my shoes for squats and deadlifts but keep them on between sets
I hate training in shoes. Socks are taking off if I need stability like a squat to not slide. Always train barefoot when I can
