would y'all say working out twice a day some days a week is good or bad? this might be a silly question. I just want to know if it'd be like too much to go to the gym every morning and then go on runs in the afternoon maybe 2-3 days a week on the same day

As long as you’re not overworking specific muscle groups and eating enough to fuel your activity

Twice in a day doesn't allow for rest. Yes you can do different body parts to prevent overworking the muscle but you're still pulling on your energy reserves. especially if they're longer than 30 min workouts you might not be able to get the same amount of hypertrophy than if you did only one workout that day

I work lower body twice a week, which I think might be the specific muscle groups targeted while running as well. would you say maybe run on the days that I don't train legs? and yeah definitely eat enough

Definitely don’t run and hit legs the same day

What would you suggest? I really want to start running but don't want to give up the gym as I really enjoy it

Run maybe 2-3x a week but I would focus on short sprints/runs rather than extended runs to help with fatigue
