Are seated hamstring curls worth it? My goals are increased (1) hamstring flexibility and (2) thicker looking legs from the side

Doesn’t work. I stretched everyday for a year. The traditional stretches only make you more flexible temporarily. I wanna be able to get out of bed, bend down, grab my ankles and suck my own balls

I’m an aerial dancer. There are definitely stretches that work. That’s how you develop splits and stuff

What can I do to be as flexible as an aerial dancer? I want to be able to do an axe kick, my hamstrings are so inflexible I can’t even do a normal karate kick above the hip level.

I always wanted to get into martial arts but my hamstring prevents me from doing even the basic stuff

For kicks you definitely want to look into more dynamic stretches which isn’t really my area so I can’t suggest specific ones, but for general flexibility and form of forward folds wnd pikes will help you, it’s more the volume and depth of the stretch than anything. Get deep into it, I’m usually sore for days after a good stretch. It should be uncomfortable
