YouTube is sick but honestly, the best advice just randomly pops up in my instagram feed

I used youtube and tiktok a lot. Sometimes id find a workout plan to follow and I'd genuinely watch people do the workouts a couple times just because I was worried id look funny doing them wrong

Just like anything, it takes practice. Instead of rushing through reps take your time squeezing each rep and you’ll get better as you go. Don’t be embarrassed! Everyone is on their own journey.

Start light and focus on controlling the bar path! Then as you get more comfortable start to progressively overload, it’s how we teach our physical therapy patients all the time!!

TikTok too - or ask someone who seems friendly. I’m sure they’d be okay to help (I’ve done it before)

If you have the resources I would say get a trainer and if you can’t then there’s so many people on youtube that can show you proper form.

YouTube, TikTok, ask ppl in the gym for form tips nd advice. Many people are always willing to help. It takes time, patience and practice to-getting used to going on machines you’ve never seen and getting the form. Don’t b scared to look stupid or dumb - everyone has done it trust

A lot of workout tracking apps have built-in videos and diagrams that show what to do. Some even have text bits explaining what you should be feeling and how to set up each exercise. I use Caliber, but I'm sure other apps do the same thing.

Start w low weights to get a feel for form and balance. Keeping the weights parallel and straight was the hardest part. YouTube and Instagram work wonders too

And you probably know this already but don’t worry about lifting heavy, just get the form right and the power will come on its own

This. YouTube can show you how to do it but cannot correct you in real time. Get a trainer for a few seasons who can get get you on the right track
