This is the hard truth 99% of people aren’t willing to accept. It’s so hard to accept because it’s one of the few things we actually do have control over. “Oh but my genetics” yea buddy genetics don’t take precedence over the first law of thermodynamics. You can’t gain weight if you consume less energy than you burn.

There’s some studies that show expending is better than less intake. Ie 500 Kcals expended from exercise is better than 500 fewer Kcals in, even tho it’s the same 500 Kcal deficit. Look up like calorie flux or metabolic flux or something

its not an excuse it just an explanation for why its harder for those people to be able to keep up with calorie deficits 😭 being hungry 24/7 is not exactly the life normal people wanna live so when thats the only way to lose weight its gonna be really hard for different people to go through. ESPECIALLY petite women who require a severely low calorie intake. especially ppl with PCOS, hormonal imbalances, genetic diseases, etc. sure theres control but js cuz u have “control” doesnt make it great
