Then go home? The gym is only as useful as you make it. If you don't like what you're doing then don't do it.

I spend a lot of nights in my feels as well, it’s good to feel deep emotions. There are days I go to the gym sad, and although it’s not as intense or gratifying, I find that occupying my body with some simple movements and weights allows me to work through my thoughts and feelings without being burdened by restlessness and anxious anticipation

Life is an incredibly difficult thing to contemplate and you won’t be able to resolve everything that worries you at once, so simplify it and focus only on the most immediate/biggest thing on your mind at the moment. If possible, try to also discuss those thoughts with another person. Allowing others to help shoulder the weight of your thoughts is massively helpful in sorting them out and resolving them, not to mention sometimes another’s perspective is exactly what is needed for a breakthrough
