My biggest pet peeve is people coming on here asking for whole workout plans or meal plans, like brother…people pay money for that shit and you’re asking strangers on line to give it to you for free? Never mind that they’re probably not qualified anyway

No problem with asking for advice, what’s the point of withholding information and gatekeeping? People can pay for what they want but there are also people in this world that are passionate enough and don’t fitness for a living but have some knowledge to share

Yes I mean the best option is to do your own research, but some people are genuinely so in the dark they need someone to talk to about their workouts/meals. But asking people to DM you a plan is so…

Completely agree didn’t know u were referring to customized plans or dms thought u meant just asking questions on yak

Just slap it into chatgpt and give them that response. That’s what 80% of these online “coaches” do anyways 😂

Asking for advice ≠ “Can someone DM a workout/meal plan” that you can easily google yourself

I didn’t know that’s what you meant, I thought you meant that someone is asking for tips about their meal plan or workout plan

I’m not even talking about online coaches though I think most of them are scammers, but if you’re serious about getting into shape and really don’t know where to start, some fuckass on yikyak is not it, and it’s kind of entitled to ask someone for detailed advice for free especially when you can find it yourself

Yeah I mean I think a way more reasonable way to go about it is asking for good resources to use to find info instead of just asking for info straight up if that makes sense. It’s also different if you have one specific question instead of just “help me”
