20F I’ve been going to the gym for a few months now lifting and stuff for general health as well as weight loss but suffer from EDS PCOS and arthritis and have to stop due to severe flare ups sometimes. I was wondering how you tell between good sore & bad

That's delayed onset muscle soreness, a very normal thing. As your muscles get used to pushing themselves, you'll experience it a lot less.

Especially when I first get back into it I can lift things normally to failure and feel fine but then like 1-2 days after especially leg days it’s to the point I can’t walk. Is this normal to those who are more experienced or does it seem like even though I can do it in the moment and be fine that day I should go lighter?

Ok thank you so much! It is kinda making me wonder about changing my split because I have Legs, Push, Legs, Pull, Abs/Cardio but I honestly am too sore on the second leg day to do anything so I might switch legs 2 and abs to help now that I know it’s a real thing!!

Yeah switching your days around is definitely a good option. You'll definitely experience soreness less as you get used to it, but you can also reduce it by just doing less total volume (sets and reps of exercises)
