The weirdest request ever, but could someone give me permission to not do cardio today? My back hurts like a bitch and I’m scared to make it worst but I also don’t want to feel lazy and huge because I’m only studying today

It’s not lazy to rest when you need it, and if doing your cardio ends up worsening your condition then it’s not worth it anyways. Nothing wrong with a day of just studying.

Thank you, logically I know your right it’s just following through with it. I’m not very active outside of the gym just cuz of circumstances and (we’re not gonna say depression but it’s in that realm) and I’m finally feeling like I can see my progress again I just don’t want to feel like I’m loosing it again

I understand where you’re coming from there, but it’s also important to recognize the mind-body balance. It’s not un-productive to study instead of going to the gym the same way it would be unproductive to sit on the couch and watch tv instead of the gym. Mental productivity is just as important as physical in terms of overall health, and taking a day to rest means you can go at it even harder tomorrow.

Yeah I think I need to go to therapy because I thought 10-15 minutes would be enough for me to still feel like I did something but also be me being cautious about my back and now I’m sitting at my desk experiencing little shocks of pain in my lower back
