Its most likely cause they got their certification a while ago. And if they're stubborn, they don't look at modern research because they paid a few hundred dollars for their "knowledge"

Deadass heard someone being PAID TO COACH tell a client that higher reps tone the muscles. The coach was like 22 too. This feels like it would be grounds for a lawsuit or some shit.
