Pic on the left is from last May and the one on the right was taken yesterday. I’m trying to get better at seeing my own progress and I’m not where I want to be yet, but for the first time in over a year I’m starting to feel good and healthy in my body :)

Honestly it was finding what made me keep wanting to work out. I HATED really intense or hard workouts when I was starting and I found out very quickly that if I continued to do them, I would eventually stop going to the gym and exercising all together. So I started small, like for example I hated running but loved walking so I walked. And once I got into the habit of going consistently, that’s when I started pushing myself to do more. Also diet has a lot to do with it.

I have PCOS and was pre-diabetic (not anymore tho!) and did some research and found that a low carb diet like keto was suggested for people with all the symptoms I was dealing with. Any time I had tried to lose weight before, I was eating the same things but less and I still had to fight with low energy levels. When I changed up my diet, it was a complete 180. (I would like to add that I am not a dietitian, doing keto is just what I found that works best for me) And calories in vs. calories out
