not for calves, calves are the densest muscle in the body so it take a lot to break it down and build it up

That's nice, I used to run before doing mostly weightlifting, and the muscle endurance in your calves definitely lets you handle a lot of volume, but using a heavy enough weight and a lower frequency would be better. Won't fix genetics for any of us unfortunately
