So I’ve been eating in an intense calorie deficit but eating healthy and high protein and 3L water for a month now. The weight had been falling off daily but then decided to not budge a single 0.1 of a pound for over a week. (More in comments)

It's just your body making immediate adjustments during the alarm phase. Intense deficits are not sustainable and probably lead to more cheating. Just do the same 500 cal deficit everyone else does

(Was also working out this whole time). Yesterday I got fed up and somehow ended up eating about 3000 calories of pure junk which is over double of what I was eating before and fruit and chicken and broccoli and stuff. Still drank the same consistent amount of water. Today I stepped on the scale at the same time I do everyday and lost half a pound. It hadn’t moved in over a week. I don’t get it. Someone please explain 😭

Yeah I’m going to start doing that now but make adjustments up or down as I see fit with how/if the scale moves probably. This probably makes me seem too intense but do you think that weight I saw on the scale today will stay and only go down from what I did yesterday? Today I’ll eat in a 500 deficit. I just don’t want it to go up.

more than double? if youre working out consistently you really should never go lower than 1500 calories a day unless youre in contest prep.

I’m a woman and sadly my maintenance is pretty low so 1500 isn’t much of a deficit

But I will be increasing it to prob 1500. If I wasn’t working out that’d be nothing but with working out you’re right. Still new to this stuff and it was working so idk
