2 eggs for breakfast, yogurt as a snack, and a grilled chicken breast for dinner. Ive dropped weight like it’s nothing, calorie deficit is the way to go baby
Thats -400 calories in a day? Thats the more unhealthy thing you could ever do to your body

nah Im not hungry though

Definitely not the healthiest way to lose weight, or the way that will sustain muscle, but it’s definitely not starving yourself lol. If you have excess fat stores, you physically cannot starve.

Well i def have excess fat so I now see your point

AnonymousOP26w
then yeah you are physically incapable of starving. That said, I’d recommend getting more essential fats in for hormone control, and getting some more carbs in to fuel performance in the gym (assuming you workout). You will still easily be in a calorie deficit adding that in.

How is eating healthy foods high in protein on a cut unhealthy?
1
Anonymous#426w
Extremely low calories, next to no carbs, not enough essential fats or micronutrients
3
Anonymous#226w
ngl I don’t know what foods are good for essential fats
1
AnonymousOP26w
omega 3s and 6s
3
Anonymous#226w
you can definitely still starve to death while being fat but that’d take something a lot more extreme than just a good cut lol

Anonymous#526w
you literally physiologically are not capable of starving to death if you’re fat. You could die of other things such as malnutrition, but it is not possible to die of inadequate energy intake when your body has stored energy.
2
Anonymous#226w
if the malnutrition and organ failure is caused by a lack of food, that is by definition starvation
2
Anonymous#526w
Starvation is severe deficiency in energy. Malnutrition is a severe deficiency in nutrients. Not the same thing

Anonymous#226w
where are you getting this definition? i’m sanity checking and almost everywhere explicitly includes nutrient deficiency/absorption

Starvation is technically a more severe type of malnutrition, where you lack ALL nutrients (including nutrients that we derive from fat stores). Starvation is malnutrition, but malnutrition is not necessarily starvation.
1
Anonymous#226w
that’s literally what i’m saying, undernutrition is right there. not everyone who died of malnutrition starved, but starvation always leads to malnutrition. by your definition no one actually dies of starvation
3
Anonymous#526w
all that to say, yes it is possible for someone with fat reserves to starve to death
3
Anonymous#526w
we’re arguing semantics here
2
Anonymous#226w
just trying not to spread misinformation, i appreciate the backtrack
3
Anonymous#526w
you will not die of energy deficiency if you are fat, if you like that better. For the record, i’m not recommending for anyone to fast to lose weight.

both of y’all are smart as hell good job for realizing you were arguing semantics most people don’t realize that
