Is going to the gym 5 times a week and rotating push pull leg days too much frequency/volume? I’m wondering if I’m just doing too much lifting and that’s why I’m seeing less improvement per week or if it’s something else entirely

How long have you been lifting. If you’ve only been lifting for like a few months your progress is gonna slow down a lot naturally

I had to take a small break from lifting for like a month and a half and just started back up about a month ago, but I’ve been lifting for about 2 years and have since gained about 30 lbs on this split, but my worry is that I haven’t seen a lot of new strength or gained muscle recently

Nice. Yeah I’ve had a similar lifting timeline as you and kinda switched between a combo of an Arnold split and ppl, on top of dieting pretty well. I’ve seen a lot of improvement with this, but realistically, it’s probably just from the diet

I notice when I take a break and come back, I see a lot of progress quick (as my muscles start to stay at rest w more blood) but that only last a couple weeks. Maybe you just noticed a lot of progress right off the break and now it’s back to normal
