Gym girlies what are some good ab and core workouts?

Visible abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym. Also, it’s completely unrealistic for a large percentage of girls to get down to a low enough body fat percentage to see all your abs anyway. However, if you are a naturally skinny endurance type athlete it’s definitely possible by being in a calorie deficit for several weeks/months depending on your starting point

I mostly have got the calorie deficit and protein stuff down but I do need to strengthen my core

Oh then weighted crunches and hanging leg raises (done the right way) are pretty much all you need

I’d even cut out the leg raises. They’re very hard to do correctly and usually end up being more of a hip flexor exercise with how they’re executed, and it’s not like they hit a different part of the abs than a weighted crunch

I agree in most cases that’s why I said you have to do them the right way - but they can be a rly good exercise for the obliques if you raise to the sides
