Seriously. I don’t know the exact mechanisms to be frank, but look up Chris Beardsley or coachJP (jpliftsweight) on insta. They’ll be able to explain it better than I could. If you’re a newbie it’s normal to feel sore but after years of training it doesn’t happen as often. I rarely get sore anymore but I’ve still made a lot of progress on all my lifts and have continued to gain muscle
