What’s y’all’s best bulking tips snackwise, been lifting for 2 1/2 years, put on okay muscle, starting to lose interest due to lack of progress/motivation. I’m in college and try not to spend too much but I want to put on weight. Currently 173ish.

Not great with diet because I can’t put on weight but I like nuts and protein bars, but I totally get the no progress thing. I’ve been losing for about the same time and had about a month where I couldn’t lift recently and it’s brutal not seeing results but we gotta stay strong and keep showing up🗣️

Excess calories won't put on muscle faster. If you're eating at or above your maintenance calories, eating enough protein, and fueling your workouts with carbs, you're meeting most of your nutrition needs

May be time to switch up the routine. If I stop seeing progress, I typically switch up the routine and that normally helps. Your muscles may be getting too used to ur current one

I eat really healthy, protein shakes, chicken, tons of fruit and vegetables, my issue is I also do a lot of cardio still because I’m active in general (basketball, pickleball, running, etc)

I should mention I gained 25 pounds of muscle, I was so skinny when younger by it in the last 6 months I’ve kinda hit a plateau

That’s wild! Good for you! But if you’ve hit a plateau I’ve done the same thing. Try it out!

I appreciate it, I think I’m going to implement some new stuff and variants of things. I appreciate your messages!
