i'm only like day two in a calorie deficit and i feel so freaking hungry and my cravings are insane. does this get better with time?

It does get better! The first two weeks are the hardest just push through - If your absolutely starving (like your stomach hurts) eat a small portion of protein (some turkey or left over whatever) or even a piece of string cheese (only 80 cals)

Lot of water, chia seeds, diet sodas, go for a walk.
