Hey any advice on best setup for a hip thrust ? I’ve tried the 2 actual hip thrust machines my gym has, the smith machine and even a simple bench and bar setup. None seem to work for me. Any advice?

No feeling it in my glutes in any of the setups - purely just hamstrings

You could try doing it on a decline, propping your feet up on a higher plant to get a greater stretch in your glutes, or just move your feet closer to your body. You can hold for a second or two at the top and really squeeze your glutes. You could try them single legged to really emphasize the squeeze at the top
