Lower back related injuries are a can of worms. You need to be more specific and careful in the gym. Injuries like this can last from a few days to the rest of your life. Making a more accommodating program will be your best friend. It should reflect the immediate needs of your day-to-day experiences with the pain. Best advice that you should look into more carefully is to keep lifting (important not become de-trained) but keep things less intense (higher rep range with broader RIR range)

Are you sure it's muscular? What have you done for recovery? This does not seem normal if you're taking the right steps

For the time being. Your goal should be to identify which lifts trigger your pain and how your programming either increases or decreases that pain. Then you should look into strengthening certain aspects of that range of motion with various exercises (functional lifting and regular lifting) that triggers your pain at a MANAGEABLE level.

And most importantly keep your head up. Pain is not ur enemy. It’s ur friend and it’ll tell you where you need to go. Try to keep things simple. Idk what ur injury is, and to be honest it doesn’t matter. What matters is that your goal should shift to strengthening that area and becoming flexible in it at a level higher than ever before. Keep it easy and maybe take a week or more off, but that’s seriously something you need to decide for yourself.
