Seems fine to me, if you wanted you could control eccentric a little more, and personally I’d bring elbows in a little from that near 90 cuz it’s more likely to cause shoulder issues, but that part is more personal preference

I like it. I will say may be good just to bring the elbows forward just a tad so you protect your rotator cuffs

Bring elbows in don’t flare out . Just go straight up touching is not necessary

Looks fine, but if you slow down on the descent you will get a better pump

Ok actually ty! I’ve been doing stuff for years and someone corrected me offhand about something I was doing last week so now I’m a little self conscious.

Yea I’m should say I’m no expert, just my thoughts from my time lifting and learning so other ppl are free to chip too. I’ve only been lifting for a few years myself haha

While I agree with the eccentric tip ur actually totally fine to keep ur current bar path as long as there’s no pain. Bringing ur elbows in more isn’t necessary if u feel good doing it how ur doing it and will end up just recruiting more upper peck than front delt

Yea I agree w this, when I said personal preference I should’ve highlighted that if it feels fine there’s no need to move it, for me I bring mine in just 10 or 15 deg cuz it pinches my shoulder that wide but it depends on the person

Yeah same I also can’t go past 90° on my left shoulder without some pain cause I tore my shoulder a couple years ago. It just goes to show how individualized lifting should be it’s not a one size fits all type deal
